Did you know that there is a Lacrosse team here in Legacy Park?

Yes, that is Lacrosse, the sport that was started by the Native-Americans.
Lacrosse is a very fast growing sport here in the South. Some of you may know it as a " Northern " sport, however, due to many transplants, national popularity, and more and more available players, the sport is catching on fast here in Atlanta.

Kennesaw has a Jr. Warrior program and a 'LiL Warrior Program for the Kennesaw / Legacy Park area that practices in Legacy Park, each Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
The Jr. Warrior Program is for kids from grade 5 - 8.
The ' LiL Warrior Program is for kids up to 5th grade.

As you may know, North Cobb has it's own J.V. team and Varsity team of which many of the Legacy Park children are on. So, the success of the future programs depends on us starting younger kids in Lacrosse. This sport is tremendously popular in the High Schools and Junior High Schools right now.

Come to the Legacy Park Town Green and watch / participate in practices. Everyone is welcome. North Cobb fields both varsity and junior varsity teams for both boys and girls. So, it is a good idea to get your child started at an early age so they can progress into the high school programs. Come find out what Lacrosse is all about and the reason they call it " The fastest game on two feet ".
