Why run for the board? My interest in running for a Legacy Park HOA Board position is twofold: First, I want to continue to work towards improving the value of our homes as well as quality of life within our community. Effectively doing so entails partnering with the HOA staff and fellow Board Members in making rational fact-based decisions that are transparent to our residents and that take into consideration the welfare of the entire community. Secondly, I feel that my diverse background, solid work experiences, and prior HOA board involvement will continue to bring a well-balanced perspective to the Board as well as to the way issues are addressed and resolved. Other Expertise: I am currently employed with a Fortune 250 company as an Assistant Vice President & Legal Counsel. In particular, I specialize in insurance and employee benefits law, including the ERISA, tax and commercial laws applicable to employer-sponsored welfare benefit plans and worksite insurance offerings. Prior to my current role, I was in private practice where I advised clients on all aspects of the design, implementation and administration of employee benefit plans, executive compensation plans and the related funding vehicles as well as provided advice on various employee benefit issues arising in corporate acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations.
